Dean joined the Writers' Circle in February 2023, he introduced himself as “not a writer”. Fast Forward to December 2023, Dean released his inaugural book, "Mindset & Me“. It's essential we acknowledge his journey and accomplishments as an artist. He is now running House of Arts operations and Film Outings.

On February 6th, the House of Arts is taking 10 individuals to an intimate conversation with Amanda Parris.

We had the pleasure of hosting a Film mixer and Artist talkback featuring Zinnia Naqvi exhibit, "The Person You Don’t See in This Image Is Me, the Camera-Person” and Heidi Holmes "Witching Hour"! At the YYZ Artists' Outlet within the 401 Richmond gallery. Attendees enjoyed the opportunity to mingle and connect with other creatives in the community.

Named “The Lord of the Underworld”, Pluto is known within the Astrology world to influence things like: change, transformation, growth and rebirth. While it can sound a bit ominous for some, take it as slow-moving progress for society and in individual lives.
Reflecting on the last time Pluto transited in Aquarius from 1778 to 1798 big societal changes happened like the North American Independence against the British, the French Revolution, Haitian Revolution, the Bill of rights, and the planet Uranus was discovered!

Aquarius is known for influencing things like community and collaboration, equality and progression, specially from a collective perspective. So Pluto entering Aquarius is a major indicator for a perspective on innovation, bringing unique things to the table and changing our perspective on hierarchy. It’s a time to redefine our partnerships and aligning with like-minded individuals and bring dreams closer to reality through those connections.

Independence and exploring will take your main focus, as Pluto in Aquarius will urge you to push limits and challenge yourself. It will re-activate Aquarian themes of freedom, revolution, social activism, and technology, but this time, they will stay active for the long haul(20 years)!

Last year we filmed our commercial at the OG house of arts! The set was vibrant, everyone behind and in front of the camera volunteered their time, labour and their likeness!
